We welcome…Commander The Rev. Canon John Wilcox as celebrant and preacher at St. Helen’s during Susan+ and Peter+’s Sabbath leave! John and his wife Mary-Lynn are members of the parish and live here in Orleans
Sabbath Leave
Peter+ and Susan+ will be on Sabbath leave from May to July. In case of emergency, contact the church office. St. Helen’s Pastoral Care Team will be on call for all other pastoral needs. To contact the team, or to request prayer chain ministry, please contact Maggie (Co-ordinator) . When you submit a name to be included in the Prayers of the People and you wish the last name to be published, please indicate that on your request (by e-mail). Ask the person first! Note: During the summer months, we use a generic bulletin and so specific prayer intentions or names for a particular Sunday must be requested on the day. |
August-September Needed: A computer savvy person, with print design experience...willing to work with Susan+ to design a new look for our weekly bulletin. Patience an asset!
Get to know St. Helen’s Parish Council Members for 2012. See the full list.
Anglican Diocese of Ottawa Capital Campaign: Growing in Faith Together GIFT. Check out www.ottawa.anglican.ca for updates. Although St. Helen’s has not yet been involved directly in this project, several people have asked about making a donation. Please follow the instructions on the GIFT Web site and note St. Helen’s GIFT Number: 7157.
